...you're the house band, and the house is your instrument

Checked out the installation Playing The Building by David Byrne at the Roundhouse yesterday. First off, how does somebody come up with the concept of wiring up an old organ to the structure of a building and then using pneumatic implements and vibrations to "play" the building like a musical instrument? Secondly, how does one go about tuning it? Wierdly wonderful, and vice vera.
